At Carr Green Primary School, we believe tackling climate change is one of the most important challenges of our time. We are committed to creating a sustainable, resilient school environment that reduces our carbon footprint and prepares pupils to be responsible global citizens.

We have developed a detailed Climate Action Plan (2025–2027) that sets out practical steps to:
- Reduce carbon emissions through energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Adapt our buildings and grounds to be more resilient to climate risks
- Embed sustainability in the curriculum and promote green careers
- Engage pupils, staff, and families in meaningful climate action
- Strengthen community partnerships to amplify our impact
