PE & Sport Premium Funding
At Carr Green Primary School, we are committed to providing all pupils with high-quality physical education, sport and physical activity opportunities. The Government's PE and Sport Premium funding helps us to enhance our PE provision, develop staff expertise, provide a wide range of sporting opportunities and encourage healthy, active lifestyles for all children.
We use this funding to improve the quality of teaching and learning in PE, invest in equipment and resources, increase participation in competitive sport, provide a variety of extra-curricular clubs and ensure that all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged, have SEND, or may face barriers to participation, can access and enjoy physical activity.
We are proud of the positive impact this funding has on our pupils' physical development, confidence, teamwork, wellbeing and enjoyment of sport, helping to create lifelong healthy habits and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
