School Meals
Choose from a selection of hot meals, sandwiches and paninis each day.
Our menu conforms to the School Foods Standards and is mainly home produced and all cooked fresh and served with seasonal vegetables.
Lunchtime System
Children are given a coloured meal card. which is taken to the dinning hall and they are given their pre booked meal choice. This helps ensure all children are only receiving their chosen meal and cannot change their mind on the day.
Desserts
Your child will have the option to choose from a variety of desserts on the day, please note these are not pre booked.
To ensure a variety of choice, we offer a 3-week rolling menu. Choices of lunch are to be pre-booked as far in advance as possible at the beginning of each term. We hope that this will make the process easier for yourself as well as the admin and kitchen team.
Please note that our meat products are not Halal.
Regardless of circumstances, please note that ALL meals MUST be pre-booked. In instances where no meals have been pre-booked then a sandwich will be booked on your behalf. However, it is expected that all parents pre-book meals themselves.
If your child is absent and has pre-booked a meal the system will be updated, and no meal will be charged for.
As a gesture of goodwill, we are keeping the price of a school meal at £2.45 as we recognise the difficult times for parents due to the cost of living.
Our meals are freshly cooked on site and are excellent value at £2.45 per day for KS2 children and are free for children in Reception and Key Stage 1.
Menus are on a three week cycle and are chosen and paid for by parents/carers in advance using the online School Money payment system.

Free School Meals
Applications for Free School Meals may be made direct to the Benefits Assessment Unit of the Corporate Services Directorate, Princess Buildings, Halifax. Please do not hesitate to seek advice from the school office in case of difficulty. An application form can also be downloaded here.
